Description
Dies iræ! dies illa
Solvet sæclum in favilla
Teste David cum Sibylla!
([link] for full lyrics and English translation)
ps. This is a reference to W.A.Mozart's Dies Irae in the Requiem. The lyrics are a Latin poem from the Medieval Age, also used in Mozart's Requiem. I've loved the song since I first heard it in Amadeus
***
Been a while since I submitted something, but as I said, the reason for that is my Apophysis is busy rendering for the calendar contest. None of the fractals I used in this one are new renders either, they're mere recycles of some of the flames I saved for later use as I didn't know what to do with them. Well, this is the "later use"
The main flame, the "wavy" background and another fractal I used for lighting were rendered in various versions of Apophysis.
The texture fractal I also used previously (and will, most likely, continue to use) was rendered in UF.
Layering, postwork, text, border and watermark done in Photoshop CS2.
I guess that's it.
enjoy!
