Description
Name inspired by Iris by John Coltrane... 
My first attempt at using texture photographs on fractals (I'd done it with fractal textures before). I had fun doing it, and I'm quite happy with how it turned out.
The main shape and the ripply textures around it was rendered in Apophysis 2.06c (single flame)
Two textures from the amazing #resurgere
The layering and the rest done in Photoshop CS2
